Students begin in the United States.
MD Program – Basic Principles of Medicine
(WAUSM Pre-Clerkship Campus)
These years are aligned with the knowledge framework required for USMLE Step 1.
Students are academically prepared to sit for USMLE Step 1 at this stage.
Core Clinical Clerkships
(U.S. Teaching Hospitals)
Students transition into hands-on clinical training within affiliated U.S. hospitals.
Advanced Clinical Training
This phase prepares students for USMLE Step 2 CK and U.S. residency applications.
Upon completion:
WAUSM maintains affiliations with 35–40 U.S. partner hospitals.
This provides:
Direct after high school
Bachelor’s + MD integrated
No MCAT required
Structured USMLE preparation

Step 3 – Complete Years 1–2 (Bachelor’s Phase)
Step 4 – Progress into MD Phase
Step 5 – Clinical Rotations in U.S. Hospitals
Step 6 – Sit for USMLE → Apply for Residency
